For short breaks abroad, we chose Gold Crest Holidays for our extended weekend trip to Dublin and absolutely loved it. They do other types of short breaks abroad but I am not one for wanting to get by with a different language, and with Dublin being such an in-thing we decided to go there.
Up until now I have never been someone who liked the look of Guinness, but I have to say I now know why the Irish are proud of their Guinness Heritage. For starters the Guinness factory is 6 floors high, with the top floor having a view of miles! As the windows stretch from the ceiling to the floor, so not for those who are scared of heights.
The actual Guinness factory is also a museum on how Sir Arthur Guinness first discovered how to make this fantastic drink. Some of our friends regard it as soup, but they do not appreciate it like we do.
During out trip to Dublin, Gold Crest were so professional and made the trip even more enjoyable providing one of the days as a coach trip through the Irish countryside which was beautiful.
As well as our Dublin break, they also do many more around the UK such as the Edinburgh Tattoo or A ladies day at Ascot. Their made expertise comes with their short breaks abroad, the variety which they offer spans all year round.
For the summer months, Disneyland Paris is very popular especially for the kids, or big kids whichever way you want to look at it. On a more romantic level there are the other European tours such as the French Alps, Switzerland to the Seven Cities of Italy. Whatever your interest, Gold Crest should have something which appeals.
Most of the short breaks abroad are a long weekend in length to 7 or 10 day holidays plus some amazing Christmas Tours.
Overall we adored our time with Gold Crest, apart from the self inflicted occasions of to much Guinness. For more information, see our link at the bottom of our article and we hope you have a lovely time as we did.
